I had the pleasure of waking up to stunning views of the Golden Horn, and the convenience of being just a short stroll away from the iconic Galata Bridge made my weekend adventure unforgettable. As a solo traveler, I particularly appreciated the well-appointed room with high-end amenities, which provided a nice retreat after my long city walks.

I absolutely loved my time at Pera Palace. The location is exceptional, just a short walk from Istiklal Street and the Galata Tower. My room, the Greta Garbo Corner Room, offered breathtaking views of the Bosporus. The décor in the hotel is stunning, capturing the historical charm beautifully. The staff provided excellent service, always attentive and eager to help. I particularly enjoyed the room service breakfast, generous and delicious. However, the breakfast selection at the hotel could be better. It lacked variety, which was a bit disappointing given the caliber of the hotel. Also, it would be nice if the hotel could improve the quality of drinks and snacks at the bar. The lighting in my room felt a bit too harsh, impacting the cozy vibe I was hoping for. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall ambiance of the hotel made my stay truly enjoyable.

The breathtaking elegance and historic charm made the experience unforgettable. The staff's attention to detail was impressive, with a special surprise for my birthday. High tea at the outdoor restaurant complemented by live music added a perfect touch. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during my visit and I missed the chance to explore Ataturk's museum room.

We had a fantastic time during our trip with friends! The views from our Deluxe Golden Horn Side Room were incredible, and we loved exploring the nearby Basilica Cistern and enjoying some local street food. The breakfast had a great selection, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend visiting the bar for a nightcap as well!
The only downside was that the Hemingway bar was closed during our stay, which was a bummer since we were looking forward to checking it out.
